Setting up your Star TSP100III (Bluetooth)

Modified on Mon, Jul 29, 2024 at 10:49 AM

A few things to note regarding pairing these devices with Bluetooth. For iOS, only one device will be able to pair with a printer before that printer becomes locked down, this is due to how iOS devices use BLE. In addition, iOS devices will need to have Bluetooth Auto connection set to ON, all other setups will need this set to OFF. You can find the instructions on how to swap between these modes, as well as indicate what mode the printer is currently using, here: https://starmicronics.com/help-center/knowledge-base/how-to-turn-auto-connection-on-or-off-for-desktop-bluetooth-interface/

Should the self-test not indicate the proper Bluetooth mode, but still show the interface as Bluetooth, the card may need to be reset. The steps for this process can be found here: https://starmicronics.com/help-center/knowledge-base/how-to-reset-star-bluetooth-printers/
