Set up Dutchie in-store kiosk

Dutchie Kiosk provides customers with a convenient, in-store ordering option.

Before you begin

• Dutchie Kiosk is available to customers using both Dutchie POS and Dutchie Register.
• Dutchie Kiosk is a free service, but you will need to provide your own in-store devices. See below for system requirements.

You will need to provide your own devices. Any web-capable device can be used as a Dutchie Kiosk.

At minimum, devices and networks should meet the following requirements:

Memory: 3GB RAM

Processor/CPU: 2.2Ghz x 4 cores

Network: 200mbps down

Set up Dutchie Kiosk

Set up Dutchie Kiosk on your own

Note: You must have Admin user permissions with ordering access to set up Dutchie Kiosks.

1. From Dutchie Ecommerce Admin go to Settings > Ordering> Kiosk.
2. Enable Kiosk Mode.
3. Copy the Kiosk URL to use on your Dutchie Kiosk device.

Set up Dutchie Kiosk with help

If you need assistance with setting up physical Dutchie Kiosks in your store, Dutchie has partnered with Frank Mayer Inc. They have been able to help many stores we work with.

They’re familiar with our product and what other stores have done to lock down the devices to prevent kiosk customers from navigating to another webpage.

Set printers to accept Dutchie Kiosk orders

You’ll need to set your printers to make sure that they’re ready to accept Kiosk orders. You would do this from the Dutchie iPad, click on settings in Dutchie Ecommerce admin, then click on Connected To and tap on Kiosk Orders.

Quantity limits

In-store thresholds may differ from online ordering thresholds. You’ll want to adjust these for Dutchie Kiosk.

1. Go to Dutchie Admin > Settings > Integrations.
2. Scroll through the cards and choose your POS.
3. Scroll to Quantity Thresholds.
4. Click Edit, and make any necessary adjustments.
5. Click Save.
